ROLE ON PROJECT
Interior Designer & Project Manager
PROJECT SCOPE
Renovation of the following areas during August/September 2016:
Banquet Halls | Meeting Rooms | Mock-Up Room | Pool Deck
Conceptual collaboration
Product selection and specifications
Design of shopfitting, furniture, lighting and structural
elementsOffice team leader
Supervising & producing design documentation, FF&E specifications and all relevant contract documentation
Preliminary site visits to meet with the client and survey the site.
Working directly under the lead designer, I had input in the conceptual design and presentation, and had the opportunity to be fully in charge of implementation. I had lead the office team in producing contract documentation, dealt with the clients, contractors and suppliers, and, due to the small size of the project, I was given the unique opportunity to act as project manager, which involved me being based at the hotel before, during, and
after the construction phase.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Project Duties:
On site project management
Managing the project programme, the appointed contractors and suppliers, the work on site, and the finishing touches
Hosting various project meetings
Being in constant contact with shipping companies and assisting to manage delivery to site
Daily site inspections
Preparation for renovation of the following areas in 2017:
Lobby | Guest Rooms | Corridors | Lift Lobbies
